Hi, I'm Ms. Emilie. Welcome to Little Acorns
After years of teaching preschool, I've opened my Auburn home to a small group of up to six children. Our days include stories, hands-on activities, backyard play, and lots of time to explore together. I bring the planning and care I used as a preschool teacher, while leaving room for children to be children.

Years in the preschool classroom inform the books, activities, routines, and care I bring to each day.

Learning that looks like play
Our days include group reading, art, sensory activities, and guided play that helps children practice social skills. I plan activities much as I did in my preschool classroom, while staying flexible to the children and the day. Children learn by doing, at their own pace.

About Ms. Emilie
I've spent years teaching preschool and have loved seeing children make discoveries, try new things, and grow in confidence. Opening a small home daycare lets me bring that experience to a setting where I can get to know each child well.
I look forward to creating a warm, playful place for children and building a real connection with the families who trust me with their care.
